Spicy Gastropub is on the Vilamoura Mariana, they have an inside restaurant and an outside terrace overlooking the beautiful marina. Spicy Gastrobup invites you to come and taste their gastronomic cuisines, prepared by their top culinary chefs. I was very well received at Spicy Gastropub, then taken to my table and the servers were very friendly to me, that counts a lot on my scorecard as there is nothing worse than going to a restaurant where you spend your hard earned money on a meal, with “unfriendly” servers!

I enjoyed this rib-eye steak though it was lacking a bit of flavour and the steak was a little bit on the tough side! my dish came with sweet potato chips, onion rings fried in batter, and corn on the cob. The corn on the cob was perfect with a smokey woody taste from the grill, the sweet potato chips were fried to perfection and nicely season with a crispy crunchy taste. Overall my meal was most enjoyable with my rib-eye steak costing 19.90 €
I enjoyed this red wine Evel, from the Douro region from a 2019 harvest, it was well paired with my rib-eye steak. Bold slightly tannic, on the dry side and well balanced. picked up oaky fruity notes. See chart for more details on this wine.
My dessert was chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, the chocolate brownie was moist and crunchy an enjoyable dessert to have with your coffee.
Spicy Gastropub also have music with a DJ on special occasions, to create that perfect dinning ambiance.
My overall score is 8 out of 10 for Spicy Gastropub. I must say that I did enjoyed the ambiance and the friendly service. I do recommend that the chef can add a bit more flavour on their food, that being said will make their dishes more enjoyable. I do recommend Spicy Gastropub as a good consideration on your next dinning journey.
