S. Martino restaurant is an Italian cuisine pizza and pasta restaurant situated on the Quarteira promenade overlooking the ocean. They have outdoor covered terraces overlooking the sea with absolute breathtaking sea views, also a good place for sunset viewing. On our arrival we were welcomed at S.Martino restaurant and my choice where to be seated, was inside the Italian styled decor restaurant to enjoy a lunch with my son Diego, then do my review surrounded by Italian arty elegance.
I have passed by S. Martino restaurant on numerous occasions on my way to review other restaurants on the Quarteira promenade over the festive season, and they are always choc a block full. If you want to get a reservation its always good to book in advance here. If they are busy they do have a bar that one can enjoy! before your table becomes available.

I ordered the Cannelloni alla Chef Martino. Cannelloni stuffed with ricotta, spinach, cream, tomato sauce and grated mozzarella cheese. I got exactly what I ordered well baked, and oozing with stringy cheese, cannelloni stuffed with creamy fresh spinach, it really was a delightful! tasty! Italian cuisine dish. This dish was very well prepared from the culinary Chefs. A big plus from me in receiving what was presented on the menu.
My son Diego ordered a 4 cheeses pizza consisting of Mozzarella, blue cheese, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese. He did however comment on the way they sliced the pizza pieces a bit untidy, and the pizza crust a bit thick on one side, lacking a bit of cheese covering! other than that, is wasn’t a bad pizza, full of flavors and very cheesy, I tasted a slice of his pizza to confirm this.

Diego had the Copa Nutella dessert, Awfully big, Awfully delicious, they brought two spoons so we could shared this massive dessert! made up of Nutella, kinder Bueno, and oreo ice cream. I must say a truly massive delicious treat! big enough for the both of us.

I do highly recommend S.Martino’s restaurant to those feeling like pizza or pasta. Inside the restaurant you truly feel like you are visiting a restaurant in Italy! with great Latin music playing in the background creating the perfect ambiance! and all that Italian style decor surrounding you! makes up for a perfect romantic environment to enjoy with your partner. My overall score for S.Martino’s is an 8, a thank you to my son! as you can see on the review card there are 2 x 8 and 2x 7 so I asked him which one does he thinks they deserve? as it could have fallen any side.
